The skin covering the eyelids is very delicate and is prone to wrinkles and drooping which makes the eye look old and unattractive. However, these flaws may be corrected with the help of Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty. Besides this, the eyelid may be reshaped during the procedure to come up with a more beautiful eye shape. General anesthetic is given to patients undergoing eyelid surgery. In this treatment, a slit or cut is created at the crease of eyelid followed with removal of excessive skin or fat or muscle leading to tighter eyelid skin. Consequently, eye bags and flabby skin in the eyelid area is removed. Since the cut is made at the crease of eyelid, there will be no visible scar and the marks will be concealed under the normal folds of eye skin.
