Like most body parts, the bum can also be subjected to cosmetic surgery named Brazilian bum lift or Brazilian butt lift to improve its shape and size. It is a 2-hour long surgical procedure performed under general anesthetic whereby the patient is initially subjected to liposuction for extraction of excess tissue or fat from the patient’s belly, hips, back and thighs. This is followed by insertion of extracted and purified fat in the patient’s buttocks. This means that buttocks are reshaped and resized without any implants or fillers by making use of the patients’ own tissues.
